It snowed last night. Most of it has melted away thank goodness. And it’s beautifully sunny today which is always a nice thing to wake up to. Here are some pictures I have taken with my new camera. Oh! I didn’t tell you about my new camera. Well, here’s the story:
Yesterday I got an email from the Internet camera shoppe (see how fancy it was?) that they didn’t have the camera I ordered in stock (Panasonic DMC-TZ5 linky: http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/shop/Cameras-Camcorders/Digital-Cameras/Lumix-Digital-Cameras/model.DMC-TZ5S.O ) so I cancelled the order because it would take 3-4 weeks for them to even get it in, never mind actually get it to my house. After my chiropractic appt, I thought I’d go to Best Buy and see what the other brands were offering and then I’d head over to Costco to see what they had. BB had my camera and for the first time I got to hold it and shoot with it and it was by far, the nicest camera (this after doing the same thing with their Sonys, Fujis, Canons, etc). But they were also selling it for 326.00 Uh, no. So off I went to Costco before heading home to reorder it online and suck up the fact that I’d have to wait for 3-4 weeks. (But guess what? They’re no longer offering it for 180.00 see here: http://www.86photovideo.com/products.asp?dept_id=&product_id=18646&show=specs Anywho, Costco had the camera for 269.00 and it came with the case, a 1gb memory card, etc. AND THEY HAD A COUPON FOR 70.00 OFF!!!! Total score because the camera at 86th didn’t include the memory card or the case. COSTCO RULES!! (And srsly, if you’re looking for a p&s, you can’t beat this one and I’d run to Costco now to get it).

I’d say yey that the storm was short and sweet but um, yeah, I think I’ve jinxed us enough already.
Dave and I didn’t renew our membership. It’s been awhile and we were just considering joining again! This just gives me more reason.
The snow is gorgeous. I can’t believe i haven’t seen your new house. How long have you been there now? Must be so nice to be surrounded by nature.
